Prior to forming Roger Mumford Homes, Roger was co‑founder and President of the Matzel & Mumford Organization. M&M developed a variety of innovative communities that in total encompassed over 3,500. Mumford and Companies have been honored with over 50 industry awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Real Estate.
Registered as New Jersey’s only home to be designated as a National Historic Landmark relating to African American culture, Roger Mumford Homes has restored “Maple Hall” and later contributed the home to the T. Thomas Fortune Foundation in Red Bank, NJ.
